Karen
Office Administrator
Karen is the office administrator and receptionist and has been with Dr. Rackauskas for over 30 years. Karen is responsible for patient scheduling, billing and accounts, making financial arrangements with patients and all office management duties.
Karen received her bachelors degree in elementary education from Illinois State University, here in Normal, in 1975. She has been married to her husband for over 25 years. They have two daughters: Kati and Molli.
Karen enjoys reading, spending time with her family, walking and shopping.
Jill
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jilll is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been employed by Dr. Rackauskas since November 1996. She graduated from Parkland College with a degree in dental hygiene in 1979. Jill loves working on patients because she is a “people” person. Her exuberant personality makes getting your teeth cleaned a unique experience. Jill has been around dentistry all of her life. Jill’s duties in the office involving patient care including dental cleanings, X-rays, sealants, fluoride and oral hygiene instruction.
Jill tries to keep patients laughing. Jill has been married for over 30 years. She has two sons, Bryan and Reid. Jill’s hobbies include photography, scrapbooking and traveling.
Jamie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jamie has been employed by Dr. Rackauskas since 2005. She has been a practicing hygienist for over 20 years. She earned her Dental Assistant certificate from Illinois Valley Community College in 1987, and her dental hygienist degree in 1989 from Parkland College. Her career has taken her from the suburbs of Chicago to rural Illinois, and now she is taking on Normal, Illinois. Her favorite part of dentistry is working one on one with the patients, getting to know them, and helping to educate them about their oral health. Her duties in the office include performing dental cleanings, patient education, x-rays, pit and fissure sealants, and periodontal evaluations.On a personal note, Jamie has been married to her husband Scott for over 20 years, and has two boys, Bryce and Carter. She has many interests outside of dentistry. They include music, photography, scrap booking, and following the sporting activities of her two boys!
Mindy
Dental Assistant
Mindy has been employed with Dr. Rackauskas since June 2000. Her duties include assisting the doctor with dental procedures, assisting with hygiene and the front desk when needed. Mindy has been in the dental field for over 20 years working in various dental offices.
She graduated from Lincoln Land College in May 1991 as a certified dental assistant. She enjoys assisting with the doctor and helping to educate the patients about good oral hygiene.
Mindy has been married to Robert for almost 20 years. They have one teenage daughter, Brandi. When Mindy is not at work, some of her hobbies include shopping, working out, collecting Lonaberger Baskets and Precious Moments and spending time with her family.
Undra
Dental Assistant
Undra has been a dental assistant since 2003 and employed with Dr. Rackauskas since November 2010. She and her husband Adam have been married for two years. Adam is in the US Army Reserves deployed to Afghanistan.
Undra is currently taking college courses to further her education. She also enjoys dancing, painting and being outdoors. Undra is a hard worker who enjoys her job because she gets to help the public and meet new people.
